PITTSBURGH ADDICTION COUNSELING
We know that recovery is a journey, and no two patients have an identical path. We have developed a specialized counseling program for our patients who receive treatment from our licensed Suboxone doctors.
This program is designed to offer structure, support, and access to recovery. At Freedom Healthcare Services, we offer expert counselors who provide a variety of therapy options, including group counseling, individual counseling, and family counseling. We have found that by offering these different forms of therapy, we are able to reach the root causes of your addiction in a way that works for you.
WHY COUNSELING IS IMPORTANT IN RECOVERY
Counseling, combined with treatment using Suboxone or Vivitrol, allows you to understand the origin of your addiction and what triggered your use in the first place. We believe this is an integral part of making sure your detox and recovery is long lasting.
The different forms of counseling we offer address different triggers, coping mechanisms, and the source of your substance abuse issues. In group counseling, we focus on issues such as relapse prevention, co-occurring disorders, craving management, and others. Individual sessions tend to focus more on developing relationships between you and your counselor to create a personalized support system.
